“We started as a psychedelic rock band, but then we don't know what the **** happened. High energy, heavy breakdowns, dreamy leads, good ol' guitar solos, and a very present frontman. We're based in Gland, and come from Canada, Sweden and Geneva.”
Short bio
Chango Monks are two Canadians, two Swedes and a Swiss, based in Gland and going since 2017. Classic rock, heavy metal and psychedelic funk, often in the same song. Four records out on their own label, Chango Temple, the latest being Hang On (2025).

- Laboga Beast 30 combo · U66 head · Marshall 2061X head · Marshall 4×12 and 2×12 cabs, both need miking

- EBS TD6 head with DI out · EBS 4×10 cab (no mic needed)
- Drums
- Full kit: snare, three toms, kick, hi-hat, crash, ride, stack. Mics on everything, kick, snare and overheads at minimum.
- Monitoring
- Mix out for 2× in-ear · 3× wedges

Channel list on the stage plan runs bass DI, kick (Beta 52A), snare and hi-hat (SM57), toms and overheads, then SM57 + E906 on each guitar cab.

Hand drawn · vector
Artwork
All of it is hand drawn by the same illustrator: the sleeves, the posters, the banners and the logo. The originals are vector, so they go on a poster or a backdrop at any size without going blurry. If you need something at a specific size, ask.
Emblem and typeface
Two versions, two-tone and single colour. Both work on black or on the dark red. Please don't recolour it, and don't put it on a white background.
The typeface
The lettering on every sleeve, the logo and this site is JMH Psychedelic CAPS by Jorge Morón. It's a poster face: great for a name or an album title, unreadable for a paragraph. Keep it to titles.
